Director and Founder
Eliphas Nyamogo is the Founder and Director of Fahari Community Initiative. He is an Information Management professional with over 20 years’ experience in various project management roles. He has a passion for leveraging information and communication technology in education. His vision is to have empowered communities that develop innovative and practical solutions to the challenges they face.
Grace Karisa
Secretary and Co-Founder
Grace Karisa serves as the Secretary to the Board of Fahari Community Initiative. She holds a Masters degree in Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University in Nairobi. She has extensive experience working with several NGOs implementing programmes on Food Security, Nutrition, Health and Education. She coordinates the Girls Rising, Woman to Woman and Midday Meal Programmes at FCI.
Joash Maxwell Ochieng
Programmes Coordinator
Joash Maxwell Ochieng coordinates various library and youth training programmes as well as the monthly Fahari Book Club at FCI. He holds a Bachelors degree in Public Health from Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University and has wide experience working with various NGOs to implement community health programmes.
Shadrack Ragama
Library Assistant
Shadrack Ragama works in the library serving readers and supporting the organization and implementation of various library programmes. He is an IT professional.
Rophine Kabaka
Programmes Consultant
A teacher by training, Rophine Kabaka runs the monthly Book Club and the Girls Rising Programme at Fahari Community Initiative.
